Experience and Background

Rochelle R. Weisburg is Of Counsel to the New York office. Her practice focuses on bankruptcy and litigation in both state, federal, and bankruptcy court.

Rochelle has practiced with several well-known bankruptcy firms during her career. She has been engaged in a diverse debtor and creditor law practice including the representation of debtors, foreign subsidiaries, foreign representatives, acquirers of assets of troubled companies, secured financial institutions, unsecured creditors, landlord and creditors committees in all phases of the bankruptcy process and litigation matters related to the bankruptcy proceeding. During Rochelle's career she has represented or has taken part in numerous high profile telecommunication bankruptcy proceedings and has also represented debtors and creditors in the technology, real estate, jewelry, and garment industries.

Rochelle is a member of the Pace University School of Law Alumni Board of Directors, American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Association of the Board of the City of New York.

Education

Rochelle is a graduate of Brooklyn College (B.S. 1987), and Pace University School of Law (JD 1991) where she was a member of the Pace International Law Review. She is fluent in English and Hebrew, and has knowledge of Spanish.

Bar Admissions

Rochelle is admitted to practice law in the United States Supreme Court, State of New York, United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of New York.
