Experience and Background
Cameron Russell is Of Counsel to the New York office. His practice areas include corporate law, real estate, tax, trusts and estates, intellectual property, entertainment and the arts, and contracts. Since joining Shiboleth in 2007, Cameron has drafted online legal content for advertising and software business clients, has prepared various commercial agreements, entity formation documents, and corporate resolutions, and has handled a variety of matters ranging from estate probates to trademarks.
While a law student, Cameron co-founded and served as Associate Editor of the University of Denver Sports and Entertainment Law Journal, practiced within the law school's Civil Litigation Clinic, received two American Jurisprudence Awards for the highest class grade, and served as the Teaching Assistant for Contracts I and II under Professor Celia Taylor for two academic years.
Prior to joining Shiboleth, Cameron managed recording artists within the music industry where he coordinated U.S. and international tours, developed business and marketing strategies, and conducted day-to-day business affairs. He currently serves on the East Harlem School's Young Professionals Committee here in New York City.
Cameron is a member of the New York State and American Bar Associations.
Education
Cameron received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2006 and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School, from which he received a BSBA in 2002. Cameron is fluent in English and is proficient in Japanese.
